FEINDEF 2025 concludes its most ambitious edition with record attendance and a boost in technological innovation.

An event defined by innovation, industrial collaboration, and the technological advancement of the defense sector.

The International Defense and Security Exhibition (FEINDEF) has concluded its fourth edition with highly positive results, establishing itself as the largest event of its kind in Spain and a key date on the European calendar. Held from May 12 to 14 at IFEMA Madrid the fair brought together more than 600 exhibitors from 61 countries, 92 institutional delegations, and exceeded 66,000 square meters of exhibition space—doubling that of the previous edition.

Over the course of three days, FEINDEF 2025 was the epicenter of innovation in the fields of defense, security, and dual-use technologies, showcasing the progress of a sector increasingly supported by advanced technological solutions, local production, and integration with the civilian industry.

A showcase of innovation and international collaboration

The event revolved around strategic pillars such as technological sovereignty, interoperability, the digitalization of critical systems, and operational sustainability, with a strong focus on public-private collaboration. Among the most notable innovations were developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, 3D printing, smart sensors, autonomous vehicles, and secure tactical communications.

FEINDEF also served as a meeting point for new collaboration opportunities between manufacturers, integrators, technology centers, universities, and armed forces, fostering a cross-sector dialogue that connects innovation, industrial capabilities, and operational needs.

In this edition, Spain’s autonomous communities also played a prominent role. Regions such as Aragón, Murcia, Andalucía, and Castilla y León took advantage of the fair to promote their industrial clusters, technology centers, and defense innovation hubs—showcasing a growing decentralization of national talent and technological capabilities.

INNOVA for DEF & SEC: A space for the sector’s future

The INNOVA for Def&Sec area was once again one of the most dynamic spaces of the fair, featuring startups, research centers, universities, and technology accelerators. This forum highlighted the potential of emerging technologies applied to both military and civilian domains, reaffirming the strategic role of innovation in the development of the sector.

In addition, the program of technical sessions and roundtables brought together national and international experts to discuss future challenges in logistics, sustainability, critical capabilities, cyber defense, and talent management in highly specialized industrial environments.

Icompplus Electronics: present as a specialized technology provider

Among the participating companies, Icompplus Electronics was part of the ecosystem of strategic suppliers represented at FEINDEF 2025. Its participation focused on reinforcing its role as a specialist in high-reliability electronic components for critical sectors such as defense, aerospace, and communications—with a clear emphasis on traceability, quality control, and specialized technical support.

At this edition, Icompplus hosted several co-exhibitors at its stand—brands with which it collaborates closely on a daily basis and which share the demanding standards of quality, reliability, and technological commitment that define the company’s work. These included Amphenol Canada, LEM and Comrod, along with Celduc® relais, A-INFO, Euroquartz and Marl. All are part of the partner ecosystem with which Icompplus drives high-performance electronic solutions.

Within the framework of FEINDEF 2025, it is worth highlighting that the business association  Secartys organized a technical session focused on the challenges and opportunities facing the electronic supply chain in the defense sector.
EThe meeting brought together experts and specialized companies (Icompplus Electronics, Arteixo Telecom, CERC Ingeniería, CIPSACIRCUITS) to address key issues such as the need to strengthen national production of strategic components, efficient supply management, quality control in critical environments, and the manufacturing of printed circuit boards under military standards. The session highlighted the value of collaboration between industry, technology centers, and public institutions as a pillar for advancing toward a more agile, robust, and standards-aligned supply chain.

A forward-looking trade fair

FEINDEF 2025 closed its doors with a clear vision: Spain and Europe are moving toward a more autonomous, digitalized, and technologically robust defense model—supported by a strong and highly specialized industrial base. On that path, companies like Icompplus contribute by strengthening the technological foundation that enables the development of critical defense and security solutions.

The next edition is already on the horizon, and all signs point to FEINDEF continuing to consolidate its role as a key platform for driving European innovation, collaboration, and technological excellence.
